Junior Cricket.

Last year the Kwik Cricket team were unbeaten throughout the whole season. They were the winners of the Erewash District League and the Erewash District Cup. We hope that this run can continue throughout the coming season.

The Under 13's season was ruined by the weather, they managed to only play ONE 11-a-side game. The 2 8-a-side teams didn't have a bad season both finishing about mid-table in their leagues. The Kwik Cricket is run by Derek Balmforth and Paul Bradshaw, they play every Friday evening in the summer up till mid August (fixtures can be seen here) The Under 13s side is run by Derek Balmforth, Richard Parker, Ian Rigley and Gareth Murden. This coming season their will be a 11-a-side team and a 8-a-side team. They play on Sunday mornings.

This year Matt Keetley will be running a Under 15s side in the Derbyshire League (fixtures can be seen here).

Anyone wishing to become a Junior member will be made most welcome and should contact Derek Balmforth for more information.

Senior Cricket.

The first team also had a successful season. They won the Derbyshire Division 7E and the team nearly won the Harry Lund Cup only to be beaten in the final to Ticknall 3rd XI.This year they will be competing in Division 6C of the Derbyshire League (fixtures can be seen here). This year we will also be entering a team in to the Erewash Sunday League. This league is made up of a mixture of adults and juniors and will be played on Sunday afternoon's (fixtures can be seen here).
